One of a number of ways that smartphones are making our lives easier is by being able to provide us with any kind of information that we may need, at any time that we need it. Among other things that this may relate to, they allow us to always have a weather forecast for any region that we may find ourselves in. Apart from the obvious day to day use, this can come in great when we are planning a trip, or choosing what we will be doing on a particular day. This is why we have decided to compile a list of the most reliable, easy to use, and beautiful to look at weather apps that are currently available for different platforms.
Yahoo! Weather
This beautiful app is very easy to use with its intuitive and reduced interface that you can quickly navigate to the desired result. The connects with the company's Project Weather, hosted on Flickr, and then uses the images retrieved from there to give you a visual interpretation of the forecast that you are receiving for the desired region. This means that you will always be getting different, beautiful images to go with your forecast, which makes this app quite interesting and sets it apart from most of the other apps of the same type. Yahoo! Weather is available for both iOS and Android devices and is completely free to use.
One of the more popular apps of this type, AccuWeather not only gives accurate and reliable forecasts, it does so in a customizable interface, capable of displaying additional information, such as that relating to different health conditions. One of the other advantages of this app is that allows you to save settings for different location, and easily access them when needed. The app is available for iOS and Android, and will never let you down in a pinch.
Forecast.io
This great app has a fairly simple and straightforward interface, but that is not to say that the information it offers is in any way reduced or incomplete. Quite the opposite, Forecast.io offers live forecast, which is to say that the information that it presents to the user is updated in real time, and that you are always getting the latest data on whatever it is that you are interested in. Apart from the live forecast, you can also chose to compare different stats across several days or weeks and get a graphic representation of the changes in weather over a certain period.

A great app that offers more information than an average weather app. However, its main strength lies in its stunning interface the full potential of which can only be fully exploited on a tablet. The app gives you a view of the entire Earth that you can rotate and zoom in on specific areas of interest. The app then provides relevant information on the chosen region, such as wind conditions, humidity, temperature or cloudiness.
